Born and raised in Utica, New York, Dr. Abraham received her undergraduate degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany.
She went on to become a Doctor of Dental Surgery and complete her advanced degree and residency in Orthodontics at the State University of New York At Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine.

A native of Long Island, New York, Dr. Schecter received his undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego. Dr. Schecter joined the West Islip Orthodontics family in 2014. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry.
